Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, incorporating a profit margin, while this market allows traders to express their own beliefs about the likelihood of each exact score. If a significant number of informed bettors believe a sportsbook’s line is inaccurate, we may see the probabilities on Polymarket diverge. It’s common to observe differences, especially as new information emerges closer to the event. Comparing the two can offer insights into public perception versus expert analysis.
