Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and to balance action, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply a larger and more diverse pool of participants. It’s common to see this market odds move independently of sportsbook lines, especially as new information emerges or public sentiment shifts leading up to the match.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of each exact score occurring. As more shares are traded for a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher perceived likelihood. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome, allowing traders to express their views and profit if their predictions prove accurate. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the collective intelligence of its participants.
This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
