All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect a more accurate forecast of events than traditional sportsbook odds, as they aggregate the wisdom of the crowd and allow traders to adjust their positions based on new information. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, whereas this market allows for more direct peer-to-peer betting. However, sportsbook odds can sometimes move faster in response to breaking news, while this market’s price discovery relies on active traders responding to that information. It's common to see differences in implied probabilities between the two.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores in the Dewa United vs. Persijap match. The price of each share reflects the market’s collective belief about the probability of that score occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust accordingly, providing a real-time assessment of the likely outcome. The market’s efficiency depends on the number of active traders and the information they incorporate into their decisions.
This market resolves around Oct 20, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Dewa United vs. Persijap match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result declared by the governing soccer league and reported by established sports news outlets. Any potential protests or appeals will be considered only if they result in a change to the officially recorded score. The outcome will be determined by the exact final score of the game, as recorded by official sources.

Public sentiment and analysis from soccer experts may also play a role.
