The winner of this market is determined by which team scores more points specifically in the fourth quarter of play, excluding overtime periods. Ties in quarter scoring result in a separate outcome.

Kalshi

This market resolves based on the fourth-quarter performance of each team in the Detroit vs Miami Pro Basketball game scheduled for October 23, 2026. If Detroit scores more points than Miami during the fourth quarter (excluding overtime), that market resolves to Yes for Detroit. If Miami scores more points than Detroit during the same period, that market resolves to Yes for Miami. If both teams score an equal number of points in the fourth quarter, the tie market resolves to Yes. The secondary rules clarify that only points scored during the fourth quarter count, and if the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the market remains open to resolve based on the official result. Cancellations or failures to start within 48 hours result in fair-price resolution for all markets.
