Bettors will assess whether the combined number of goals scored by both teams in the first period exceeds specified thresholds. The focus is strictly on scoring during the first period of play.

Kalshi

The market resolves to Yes if the total goals scored by both teams in the first period exceed 0.5, 1.5, or 2.5 goals in the NHL game originally scheduled for October 26, 2026. Only goals scored during the first period count. If the game is postponed but begins within 48 hours of its scheduled start time, the market remains open and resolves based on the official result. If the game is cancelled or not started within 48 hours, all markets resolve to a fair price.
