Comparing prediction market odds to those offered by sportsbooks can reveal interesting differences in how probabilities are assessed. Typically, sportsbooks incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, ensuring a profit margin regardless of the outcome. This market, being a peer-to-peer exchange, aims to reflect the collective wisdom of traders without an inherent profit margin. Therefore, the odds on Polymarket may sometimes differ from sportsbook offerings, potentially providing value for informed bettors who identify discrepancies between perceived probabilities and those reflected in the market price. It’s important to consider these factors when evaluating potential bets.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous exchange where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, the price increases, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures that the market reflects the most up-to-date collective assessment of the event’s likelihood. The current implied probability of a specific outcome is determined by the share price relative to $1, representing a 100% probability.
This market resolves around Nov 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the Derevynskyi vs. Kulishov match, as reported by recognized sports authorities. The platform will verify the result against these sources to determine the winning outcome. Traders who hold shares in the correct outcome will be entitled to a payout based on the final market price at the time of resolution. It is important to monitor official sources for the confirmed result to understand the resolution process.

Furthermore, public opinion, analyst predictions, and even social media buzz surrounding the match could all contribute to price movements. Major upsets in related matches or tournaments could also indirectly affect the perceived probabilities, leading to adjustments in the market price as traders react to new information and reassess their predictions.
