The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, ensuring a profit margin, whereas this market allows traders to directly assess the probability of each exact score. This can lead to discrepancies, with this market sometimes offering more favorable odds, especially when there's strong disagreement between the crowd and the sportsbook. It’s important to compare the implied probabilities to identify potential value, but remember that each venue has its own user base and information sources.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores, and the price of each share reflects the market's collective belief about the probability of that outcome. As more shares are traded, the price adjusts to find an equilibrium. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movements are driven by new information, shifts in sentiment, and trading activity. The platform doesn't set the price; it emerges from the interactions of market participants.
This market resolves around Nov 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the Derby County vs. Norwich City match will determine the winning exact score. Resolution will be based on the official match data, and any disputes will be handled according to Polymarket’s guidelines. Traders should ensure their accounts are in good standing to receive payouts promptly after resolution.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in coaching staff, or unexpected player suspensions could significantly shift the odds. Pre-match analysis from sports analysts and commentators could also sway market sentiment. Furthermore, large trading volume from informed participants might indicate new information or a change in expectations. Monitoring these signals closely can help you understand the potential for price movements in this market before Nov 3, 2026.
