In the upcoming Colombia Primera A game between Deportivo Pereira and Boyacá Chicó FC, scheduled for October 20, 2026 at 5:30 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Deportivo Pereira vs. Boyacá Chicó FC match originally scheduled for October 20, 2026 at 5:30 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a more accurate assessment of event outcomes compared to traditional sportsbook odds. This is because prediction markets incentivize participants to express their true beliefs, leading to a “wisdom of the crowd” effect. While sportsbooks may incorporate biases or seek to profit from public perception, this market aggregates the views of informed traders. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities, and discrepancies can occur due to differing information or market dynamics. It’s always wise to compare both sources when forming an opinion.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each possible exact score. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the collective wisdom of the market. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price movements are driven by supply and demand – if many traders believe an outcome is likely, they’ll buy shares, driving up the price, and vice-versa. This dynamic pricing ensures the market remains responsive to new information.
This market resolves around Oct 20, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the Deportivo Pereira vs. Boyacá Chicó FC match will determine the winning outcome in this market. The resolution will be based on the exact final score as recorded by official sources, ensuring a transparent and verifiable process. Traders should monitor official sources for the match result as this will dictate the market’s settlement.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before resolution. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in coaching staff, or even weather conditions could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected lineup announcements or reports of player disputes could also have a significant impact. Furthermore, real-time updates during the match itself – such as early goals or red cards – will likely cause rapid price fluctuations. Monitoring these signals and staying informed about the teams involved is crucial for understanding potential market movements.
