These markets assess whether both the Denver and Arizona teams will score a specified minimum number of points in their upcoming football game. The outcome depends solely on the final point totals each team achieves, regardless of the game's timing adjustments. All scenarios share consistent secondary rules regarding game postponements and overtime scoring.
All markets resolve based on whether both Denver and Arizona score at least a specified number of points (14, 21, 28, or 35) in their Pro Football game originally scheduled for October 25, 2026. Points scored in overtime count toward the total. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of its original time, the market remains open and resolves based on the final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours of the scheduled time, the market resolves to a fair price. Kalshi is not affiliated with the Governing League, and all trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook lines. Sportsbooks set odds based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. If a significant number of traders believe a particular outcome is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the price will move accordingly. It’s common to see prediction markets outperform traditional sportsbooks, especially as more information becomes available closer to the event. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information access and analytical approaches.
On Kalshi, this market is priced using a continuous double auction. Traders buy and sell contracts representing the probability of both teams scoring, and the price fluctuates based on supply and demand. As more traders buy contracts indicating they believe both teams will score, the price rises, reflecting an increased probability. Conversely, selling contracts lowers the price. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price represents the market's collective assessment of the likelihood of the event occurring, and it’s constantly updated as new information and opinions are incorporated by traders.
This market resolves around Oct 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will depend on whether both the Denver and Arizona teams score at least one point during the game. Official game statistics will be used to determine if both teams have met this condition. The final score will be the determining factor, and the market will settle based on this verified result. Traders will be able to see the resolution details on Kalshi once the outcome is confirmed.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. Any news regarding key player injuries on either the Denver or Arizona teams would likely have a significant impact. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they are expected to affect scoring, could also move the market. Unexpected shifts in team performance during other games leading up to the event, or even pre-game analysis highlighting offensive or defensive weaknesses, could cause traders to adjust their positions. Public sentiment and betting trends from sportsbooks might also play a role, influencing trader behavior.
