Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to express their opinion with real money. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook is mispricing the probability of either team scoring first, the odds here may diverge. It's important to compare both to inform your decision-making process and identify potential value, but remember that this market represents a different form of forecasting.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief about which team will score first in the Denver vs. Angel City soccer match. The price of these shares directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more people trade, the price adjusts, providing a real-time assessment of the likelihood of each team taking the early lead. The current price indicates what the collective market believes is the fair probability of a team scoring first.
This market resolves around Oct 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will depend on which team, if any, scores the first goal in the Denver vs. Angel City soccer match. The official match records will serve as the basis for determining the winning outcome. Any disputes will be handled according to the platform’s guidelines, ensuring a fair and transparent resolution process for all participants in this market.
