PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue: Both platforms define a win by either team as a 'Yes' resolution, but Polymarket adds a cancellation/no-result provision.Hero tip: Focus on the likelihood of the game occurring. The cancellation clause on Polymarket introduces a small risk of a 50/50 split if the game is canceled.

Critical divergence points:

  • Polymarket: Resolves 'Yes' if either team wins, with a 50/50 split if the game is canceled or doesn't start by November 6, 2026. "If the game is canceled, does not start by Friday, November 6, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or is abandoned with no official result by that time, this market will resolve 50-50."
  • Kalshi: Resolves 'Yes' if either team wins. "If Virginia Tech wins...then the market resolves to Yes. If Delaware wins...then the market resolves to Yes."
