Typically, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective, often incorporating information and analysis not immediately captured by traditional sportsbooks. While sportsbooks set initial lines based on team statistics and expert opinions, this market allows anyone to express their view, potentially leading to odds that differ from those found at sportsbooks. These differences can arise from unique insights, late-breaking news, or simply a broader range of participants contributing to the price discovery process. It's valuable to compare both to form a well-rounded assessment.
