Often, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective that differs from traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks may incorporate factors like house bias or promotional offers, while this market relies on the collective predictions of informed traders. It's common to see discrepancies, especially when significant public information isn't fully priced into sportsbook lines. Comparing the two can offer a broader understanding of potential outcomes and highlight areas where the market believes there's value, or where public perception diverges from informed predictions.
