Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on statistical models and expert opinions, while this market incorporates the collective judgment of many individual traders. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook has mispriced a team's chances, the odds on Predict will adjust accordingly. This dynamic can lead to prediction market odds being more accurate, especially as the event approaches and more information becomes available.
This market resolves around Oct 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on which team officially scores the first goal in the D.C. United vs. Cincinnati match, as recorded by official match statistics.
