Often, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set their lines based on models and internal analysis, while this market is driven by the collective predictions of many individuals. If a significant number of people believe a particular outcome is more likely than implied by sportsbook odds, the price in this market will adjust accordingly. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially when there’s strong public sentiment or information not fully captured by sportsbook algorithms. These differences can present opportunities for informed traders.
