The outcome depends solely on the performance of the teams in the final segment of regulation time, excluding any overtime periods.

Kalshi

The market resolves based on which team leads in goals scored during the third period of regulation play in the Dallas vs Washington NHL game scheduled for November 3, 2026, excluding overtime. If Washington finishes the third period with more goals than Dallas, the Washington market resolves to Yes. If Dallas finishes the third period with more goals than Washington, the Dallas market resolves to Yes. If both teams finish the third period tied in goals, the Tie market resolves to Yes. For all markets, only goals scored during the third period of regulation count; overtime goals are excluded. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of its original scheduled time, the market remains open and resolves based on the official result after completion. If the game is cancelled or does not start within 48 hours of its scheduled time, all markets resolve to a fair price.
