This event determines which player will achieve the highest receiving yards in an upcoming football game between two teams. Each market focuses on a specific player, with outcomes based on their performance relative to all other players in the game. The resolution considers participation and potential ties among players.
The event resolves based on which specified player records the most receiving yards in the Dallas vs. Green Bay Pro Football game scheduled for October 18, 2026. If the designated player achieves the highest yardage, the corresponding market resolves to Yes. If the player does not participate, the market resolves to No. In cases where multiple players tie for the most yards, the payout is divided equally among all tied markets, with each holder receiving $1 minus the Yes payout. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the market remains open and resolves based on the final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours, the market resolves to a fair price. The operator is not affiliated with the governing league, and all trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market allows anyone to trade based on their own insights. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook is undervaluing or overvaluing a player’s potential, the prices here will adjust accordingly. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially as new information emerges or public opinion shifts closer to game time.
On Kalshi, this market is priced using a continuous double auction. Traders buy and sell contracts representing different players, and the price of each contract fluctuates based on supply and demand. As more people buy contracts for a particular player, the price increases, indicating a higher probability of that player leading in receiving yards. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price represents the market’s assessment of the probability of each player winning, with higher prices signifying greater confidence. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and adjust expectations.
This market resolves around Oct 19, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the official statistics from the Dallas versus Green Bay game are verifiable from credible public reporting. The player with the highest number of officially recorded receiving yards at the conclusion of the game will be declared the winner. The final receiving yard totals will be sourced from official game data and used to determine the settlement of all contracts within this market.
Several factors could significantly influence this market. Any news regarding player injuries to key wide receivers or tight ends on either team would likely cause substantial price movements. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly conditions that favor passing or running, could also shift expectations. Furthermore, late-breaking reports about defensive strategies or player matchups could impact trader sentiment. Finally, general public perception and media coverage leading up to the game can contribute to fluctuations in the prices within this market.
