These markets track specific combinations of outcomes between the first half and the full game result in an upcoming professional football match. Each market requires both the first half and the final game result to match a predetermined scenario for resolution.
All markets resolve based on the combined outcome of the first half and the full game (including overtime) of the Dallas vs Green Bay Pro Football game scheduled for October 18, 2026. For a market to resolve as 'Yes,' both the specified first half result and the specified full game result must occur exactly as described. If either the first half or full game result does not match the market's conditions, the market resolves to 'No.' If the game is postponed but commences within 48 hours of the original scheduled start time, the markets remain open and resolve based on the official final result. If the game fails to start within 48 hours of its scheduled time, all markets will resolve to a fair price. The markets cover all possible combinations of winners or ties in both the first half and the full game, ensuring comprehensive coverage of potential outcomes.
Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market allows traders to freely adjust probabilities based on their own analysis and information. If there’s a significant discrepancy, it might indicate that the market believes a sportsbook has mispriced the event, or that new information hasn’t fully been incorporated into sportsbook lines yet. It's common to see prediction markets move faster to incorporate breaking news than sportsbooks.
On Kalshi, this market is priced using a continuous double auction. Traders buy and sell contracts representing each possible outcome – in this case, the result of the game. The price of each contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust dynamically, providing a real-time assessment of the event’s likelihood. The market depth shows the available buy and sell orders at different price points.
This market resolves around Oct 19, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result will be determined by the official final result of the Dallas vs Green Bay game, including both the first half and full-time results. The platform will verify the outcome against publicly available sources to ensure accuracy and transparency. Traders holding contracts for the correct outcome will receive a payout of 100, while those holding contracts for incorrect outcomes will receive nothing.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding key player injuries for either the Dallas or Green Bay teams would likely cause price movement. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly if severe weather is expected during the game, could also influence trading activity. Unexpected coaching decisions or strategic adjustments announced before the game could also shift probabilities. Finally, any significant public sentiment shifts, perhaps driven by expert analysis or widespread betting patterns, could move this market as traders react to new information.
