Description

These markets assess how many goals will be scored in the first period of an upcoming NHL game between Dallas and Chicago. Each market sets a different threshold for the total goals, determining whether the scoring exceeds that benchmark. The outcomes depend solely on the official game result, with specific handling for postponements or cancellations.

Kalshi

All markets resolve based on the total number of goals scored by both teams in the first period of the Dallas vs Chicago NHL game scheduled for October 17, 2026. Each market has a distinct threshold: over 0.5 goals, over 1.5 goals, and over 2.5 goals, with the market resolving to 'Yes' if the actual goals exceed the respective threshold. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the markets remain open and resolve based on the final result. If the game is cancelled or does not start within 48 hours of the scheduled time, all markets resolve to a fair price. Note that 3rd period markets do not include overtime, though this note pertains to other markets and does not affect the first period resolution.
