In the upcoming UEFA Women's World Cup Qualification game between Czechia and Scotland, scheduled for October 9, 2026 at 2:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Czechia vs. Scotland match originally scheduled for October 9, 2026 at 2:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and ensure profit, while this market allows participants to directly express their beliefs about the probability of each exact score. Early in the market's life, you might see discrepancies, as sportsbooks react to public betting patterns. As the event approaches, the odds on Polymarket often converge with those of more informed sportsbooks, potentially offering a valuable comparison point for those seeking an edge in their own predictions.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market's collective assessment of that score's probability. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect new information and changing opinions. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price movements are driven by supply and demand – if many traders believe a specific score is likely, they will buy shares, driving up the price, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing allows for a fluid and responsive reflection of expectations.
This market resolves around Oct 9, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the final, official score of the Czechia vs. Scotland match will be used to determine the winning share(s). The resolution will be based on the official result as reported by the governing football association. Traders who hold shares in the correct exact score will be paid out according to the market's pricing at the time of resolution, while those holding shares in incorrect scores will lose their investment.
Several factors could significantly influence this market. Any news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either the Czechia or Scotland national teams would likely cause shifts in the odds. Tactical announcements from either manager, such as confirmed starting lineups or strategic approaches, could also impact trading activity. Furthermore, broader events like unexpected weather conditions at the match venue or significant changes in team form leading up to the game could all contribute to price movements in this market. Public sentiment and expert analysis also play a role, influencing trader behavior.
