In the upcoming UEFA Nations League game between Cyprus and Latvia, scheduled for October 5, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Cyprus vs. Latvia match originally scheduled for October 5, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, incorporating a margin for profit, whereas this market allows traders to directly express their beliefs about the likelihood of each possible exact score. If a significant discrepancy exists between this market and sportsbook odds, it may indicate that prediction market traders possess information or insights not yet fully priced into the sportsbook lines. However, it's important to remember that both represent probabilities, and neither guarantees the actual outcome.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market's collective belief about the probability of that score occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect new information and changing sentiment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price movements are driven by supply and demand; if many traders believe a particular score is likely, they will buy shares, driving up the price, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures the market remains responsive to evolving expectations.
This market resolves around Oct 5, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official exact score of the Cyprus vs. Latvia match will be used to determine the winning share(s). The resolution will be based on the official result as reported by the governing body of the competition. Any disputes regarding the official score will be handled according to Polymarket’s resolution procedures, ensuring a fair and transparent outcome for all participants in this market.
Several signals could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or tactical adjustments announced by either team could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected weather conditions on match day could also influence the perceived probabilities of different scores. Furthermore, real-time updates during the match itself – such as early goals or red cards – would undoubtedly cause rapid price movements. Overall, any information that alters the perceived likelihood of a specific exact score has the potential to move this market before Oct 5, 2026.
