Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market allows traders to freely express their beliefs about the likelihood of each exact score. This can lead to discrepancies, especially as new information emerges. If a significant number of informed bettors believe a sportsbook is mispricing the outcome, they may trade in this market to capitalize on the difference, potentially driving the probabilities closer to what they perceive as the true odds. It's a fascinating comparison to observe.
