In the upcoming FIFA International Friendlies game between Côte d'Ivoire and Cameroon, scheduled for October 3, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Côte d'Ivoire vs. Cameroon match originally scheduled for October 3, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective, often proving more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks incorporate a profit margin into their odds, whereas this market is driven purely by traders’ beliefs about the probability of each outcome. However, discrepancies can emerge due to differing information access, biases, or simply variations in market participants. It’s common to see this market initially align with sportsbook odds, then diverge as new information or perspectives influence trading activity. Observing these differences can be insightful for both prediction market participants and sports bettors.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of each exact score. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and express their views, the prices adjust, reflecting the collective prediction. The market's price discovery process is driven by supply and demand – if many traders believe an outcome is likely, the price of shares representing that outcome will increase, and vice versa. This creates a dynamic and responsive pricing system.
This market resolves around Oct 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the Côte d'Ivoire vs. Cameroon match will be used to determine the winning outcome in this market. Resolution will occur promptly after the match concludes and the official score is publicly available. Traders holding shares in the correct exact score outcome will be eligible for payout based on the final market prices at the time of resolution. It’s important to monitor the official sources for the match result to understand the resolution process.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market leading up to Oct 3, 2026. Any news regarding player injuries, team formations, or changes in coaching strategy for either the Côte d'Ivoire or Cameroon could significantly shift predictions. Unexpected weather conditions at the match location could also play a role. Public sentiment, reflected in expert analyses or social media discussions, can also impact trading volume and prices. Finally, any significant events affecting the broader football landscape, such as upsets in related matches, might influence traders’ risk appetite and overall market behavior.
