This market focuses on predicting whether either team will achieve a specific number of champion kills in a single game of a professional League of Legends match. The outcome depends on the performance of the teams during the scheduled game, with resolution based on official statistics from the match.
The event resolves based on the official champion kill statistics recorded in game 2 of the Worlds 2026: CTBC Flying Oyster vs. Karmine Corp League of Legends match scheduled for October 29, 2026, at 7:00 PM EDT. If CTBC Flying Oyster records 11 or more champion kills, that specific market resolves to Yes. If Karmine Corp records 17 or more champion kills, that market resolves to Yes. If the match is postponed beyond 48 hours of its scheduled start time, cancelled, forfeited before any play occurs, shortened, or replayed, the markets will resolve based on the last fair price or officially recorded statistics prior to any voided or incomplete play, in accordance with the governing body's rules and Kalshi's Contract Rules. No affiliation or endorsement by the governing league is implied.
Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook lines. Sportsbooks set odds based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. As more information becomes available and public sentiment shifts, the odds on Kalshi may converge with, diverge from, or even lead sportsbook odds. It’s common to see prediction markets outperform traditional sportsbooks, especially when there is significant public interest and debate surrounding an event.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing their beliefs about the outcome. The price of a contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders set the odds by placing bids and asks, and the market price fluctuates based on supply and demand. The closer we get to the event, the more the price will likely reflect the perceived certainty of the outcome, with higher volume indicating greater confidence.
This market resolves around Oct 30, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the total number of kills achieved by each team in Game 2 of the CTBC Flying Oyster versus Karmine Corp match will be used to determine the winning contracts. The resolution will be based on official game statistics and data, ensuring a fair and transparent outcome for all participants. Traders should monitor official sources for the final results as the resolution date approaches.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before Oct 30, 2026. Any news regarding player form, team strategies, or unexpected roster changes for either CTBC Flying Oyster or Karmine Corp could significantly impact trader sentiment. In-game performance during earlier matches in the series, or even during the regular season, could also shift expectations. Major upsets in other related esports events might also indirectly influence the market, as could significant shifts in public opinion or expert analysis regarding the teams' chances of success.
