PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue: Cancellation of the match leads to different resolutions across platforms, particularly for the Draw market.Hero tip: Consider the cancellation scenario when taking positions. Limitless's 'YES' resolution for a canceled draw contrasts with Polymarket's 'NO' resolution for a canceled win.

Critical divergence points:

  • Polymarket: If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve "No". This applies to all win/loss/draw markets.
  • Limitless: If the match is not completed...and no make-up match is scheduled, this market will resolve "YES" for Draw, and "NO" for Win/Loss markets.
Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Polymarket

This event is for the upcoming Primeira Liga game, scheduled for Sunday, November 1, 2026 between CS Marítimo and CD Santa Clara.

Limitless

This market resolves to "YES" if the listed club wins after 90 minutes plus stoppage time, excluding extra time and penalty shootouts, in the match scheduled for November 1, 2026, 18:00 UTC. Otherwise, it will resolve to "NO." If the match is postponed, this market will remain open until the match has been completed. If the match is not completed as scheduled for any reason (for example, if it is abandoned, canceled, or awarded), and an official final result is recognized by the governing body or event organizers, this market will resolve based on that result. If no official final result is recognized and no make-up match is scheduled, this market will resolve "NO." Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Prediction market odds, like those found on Polymarket and Limitless, often reflect a 'wisdom of the crowd' that can differ from traditional sportsbook lines. Sportsbooks set odds based on their own models and need to account for profit margins, while prediction markets are driven by users incentivized to accurately forecast outcomes. This market’s implied probabilities can sometimes be more accurate, particularly when a significant amount of volume is traded. However, sportsbooks have access to real-time information, such as injuries, that may not be immediately reflected in prediction market prices. Comparing both provides a more holistic view.
