In the upcoming Liga Promerica game between CS Herediano and Inter San Carlos, scheduled for November 8, 2026 at 4:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the CS Herediano vs. Inter San Carlos match originally scheduled for November 8, 2026 at 4:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, often incorporating information not immediately available to traditional sportsbooks. This can lead to differences in probabilities assigned to various outcomes. Sportsbooks may initially set odds based on team rankings and historical data, while this market can adjust rapidly based on news, injuries, or even subtle shifts in public perception. It's common to see prediction markets outperform sportsbooks, particularly when there's significant uncertainty or information asymmetry surrounding the event.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market's implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market's overall pricing is determined by the supply and demand for these shares, creating a dynamic and real-time assessment of the event's potential results. The current volume traded is $0.

Several factors could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either CS Herediano or Inter San Carlos would likely cause shifts in the odds. Unexpected changes in team formations or coaching strategies could also influence trader sentiment. Furthermore, weather conditions on match day, or even reports of internal team conflicts, could all contribute to price movements. A significant upset in a related match featuring either team could also impact expectations and move this market.
