In the upcoming Liga Promerica game between CS Herediano and AD San Carlos, scheduled for October 10, 2026 at 10:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the CS Herediano vs. AD San Carlos match originally scheduled for October 10, 2026 at 10:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from sportsbook odds due to varying information and biases. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by simultaneously betting on Polymarket and a sportsbook. However, it's important to remember that prediction markets and sportsbooks serve different purposes and have different risk profiles.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market's implied probability of that score occurring. As more shares are bought for a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price movements are driven by supply and demand, influenced by news, analysis, and the collective judgment of participants. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the most up-to-date information available.
This market resolves around Oct 11, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result declared by the governing soccer league, ensuring a transparent and objective outcome. Traders will be able to claim their winnings once the resolution is finalized on Polymarket.
Several signals could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either CS Herediano or AD San Carlos would likely cause shifts in the odds. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they are expected to heavily influence the game, could also move the market. Additionally, tactical announcements from either team’s manager, or even late-breaking news about team morale or internal conflicts, could all contribute to price fluctuations in this market before Oct 11, 2026.
