Description

This prediction market asks users to forecast which team, Crystal Palace FC or Liverpool FC, will score the first goal in their upcoming match on November 8, 2026. A third option allows betting on neither team scoring within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Polymarket and Predict utilize identical resolution criteria regarding the timing of the first goal (90 minutes + stoppage time) and the handling of postponements and cancellations.Primary resolution logic: Official match statistics as recognized by the governing body or event organizers, with tiered fallbacks to Flashscore, Sofascore, and credible reporting.

Core resolution logic:

  • The first team to score within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time determines the outcome.
  • If neither team scores within the specified timeframe, the market resolves to "Neither".
  • Postponed matches will have resolution delayed until completion.
  • Canceled matches with no reschedule will resolve to "Neither".

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Data Availability: If official statistics are unavailable within 2 hours of the match's conclusion, the resolution source falls back to Flashscore, then Sofascore, and finally a consensus of credible reporting. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours, the market resolves 50-50.
Timing: Resolution will occur as soon as official match statistics are available, or within 24 hours of the match's conclusion if fallbacks are required. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.
