In the upcoming Premier League game between Crystal Palace FC and Liverpool FC, scheduled for November 8, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the halftime score of the Crystal Palace FC vs. Liverpool FC match originally scheduled for November 8, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET, considering only goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time; second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual halftime score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor names, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences in a team's or player's name will not affect resolution, provided the intended team or player can be clearly and uniquely identified as a participant in the listed fixture or competition. If a listed name has no reasonable connection to any participant, or could reasonably refer to more than one participant such that the intended team or player cannot be determined, this market will resolve as it would if the listed fixture had been canceled entirely; a listed participant who cannot be identified does not count as inactive or absent. The primary resolution source for this market will be official match information from Premier League (https://www.premierleague.com/). If the governing body or event organizers have not published final statistics within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on expert analysis and incorporate a margin for profit, while this market allows traders to collectively express their beliefs about the probability of each outcome. If a significant number of traders believe a particular first-half score is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the odds on Polymarket will adjust accordingly. This dynamic pricing can sometimes lead to more accurate predictions than those offered by conventional betting outlets.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different possible first-half scores. The price of each share reflects the market's implied probability of that score occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and the implied probability rises. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market dynamically adjusts based on supply and demand, providing a real-time assessment of the collective prediction. Currently, the most favored outcome, Crystal Palace FC 2 - 0 Liverpool FC, holds a 50.0% chance of occurring according to the market.
This market resolves around Nov 8, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the first half of the Crystal Palace vs. Liverpool match will be the determining factor. The outcome will be based on the official result reported by a trusted sports data provider. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final result and their positions in this market. It’s important to monitor the event closely as it approaches resolution.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Late-breaking news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Crystal Palace or Liverpool would likely cause significant shifts. Changes in team formations or tactical approaches announced before the match could also impact trader sentiment. Unexpected weather conditions on match day might also play a role, potentially affecting the style of play and scoring opportunities. Any significant public statements from team managers or key players could also move this market as traders react to new information.
