If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of forecasters, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set odds based on their own models and risk assessment, while this market aggregates the views of many individual traders. It’s common to see differences emerge, especially when there’s significant uncertainty or public debate surrounding an event. Comparing the two can provide a more comprehensive understanding of the possible outcomes and associated probabilities.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the probability of that score occurring, as determined by supply and demand. As more traders believe a particular score is likely, the price of its corresponding shares will increase, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and adjust predictions accordingly, creating a real-time forecast of the match’s outcome.
This market resolves around Oct 23, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Cruzeiro EC versus Clube do Remo match will be used to determine the winning share(s). Resolution will be based on the official result as reported by a trusted sports data source. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final score and the shares they hold in the corresponding outcome.
Several factors could influence the price movement in this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team lineups, or tactical adjustments could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected weather conditions or referee announcements might also play a role. Furthermore, public perception and media coverage surrounding the teams’ performance can impact trading activity. Significant shifts in these areas are likely to cause fluctuations in the odds until the match concludes and the final score is known.
