This market refers to the cricket match between USA and Namibia scheduled for October 7 2026 at 11:00 AM ET in Cricket World Cup League 2. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbook odds are typically set by professional oddsmakers, while this market relies on the opinions of individuals willing to put their capital at risk. It’s common to see discrepancies arise due to differing information, biases, or interpretations of the teams’ strengths. Analyzing these differences can be valuable for informed decision-making, though it's important to remember that both represent probabilities, not guarantees.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome of the USA vs Namibia cricket match. As more shares are purchased for a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher implied probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market odds constantly adjust to new information and changing sentiment.
This market resolves around Oct 14, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the USA vs Namibia cricket match, as reported by recognized sports authorities. The platform will verify the result against these sources to determine which outcome is declared the winner. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will be entitled to a payout based on the final market price at resolution.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before it resolves. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team lineups, or weather conditions impacting the match could significantly shift trader sentiment. Unexpected performance in preceding matches or shifts in expert analysis could also play a role. Furthermore, large trades by influential market participants can create short-term price fluctuations. Monitoring these signals can help you understand how the market is reacting to new information and potentially identify trading opportunities.
