This market refers to which team's player records the highest individual run total in the cricket match between Oman and Nepal scheduled for October 19 2026 at 2:00 AM ET in Cricket World Cup League 2. The outcome corresponding to Oman will be considered correct if the highest individual score in the match is recorded exclusively by a player from Oman. The outcome corresponding to Nepal will be considered correct if the highest individual score is recorded exclusively by a player from Nepal. If the highest individual score is shared by at least one player from each team, the market will resolve to Draw. The market will resolve according to which team's player records the highest individual run total regardless of if the match is not competed (e.g. Due to weather conditions). DLS/DRS adjustments and any other on-field rulings affecting batting statistics are treated as ordinary data. If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without official batting statistics being recorded, the market will resolve Draw. If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and official statistics are available.

Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome. If a significant number of traders believe a player is more likely to succeed than sportsbooks suggest, the odds on Polymarket will shift accordingly. This can create opportunities to find value where the market disagrees with conventional wisdom regarding the Oman vs Nepal cricket match.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in a particular player being the top batter. The price of each share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a player, the price increases, reflecting growing confidence. Conversely, selling pressure lowers the price. This dynamic pricing ensures the market odds reflect the collective intelligence of all participants trading on Polymarket.
This market resolves around Oct 26, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on which player scores the most runs in the Oman vs Nepal cricket match. The official match results will be used to determine the winning outcome for this market. Traders will be able to claim their winnings once the result is officially declared and verified, ensuring a transparent and accurate settlement process.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding player form, injuries, or changes to the team lineup for either Oman or Nepal could significantly shift the odds. Weather conditions on the day of the match, which could favor either batting or bowling, are also a key consideration. Unexpected announcements about pitch conditions or strategic changes could also drive movement. Ultimately, any information that alters perceptions of a player’s likelihood of performing well will impact trading and the price of shares on Polymarket.
