This market refers to which team's player records the highest individual run total in the cricket match between Oman and Canada scheduled for October 15 2026 at 2:00 AM ET in Cricket World Cup League 2. The outcome corresponding to Oman will be considered correct if the highest individual score in the match is recorded exclusively by a player from Oman. The outcome corresponding to Canada will be considered correct if the highest individual score is recorded exclusively by a player from Canada. If the highest individual score is shared by at least one player from each team, the market will resolve to Draw. The market will resolve according to which team's player records the highest individual run total regardless of if the match is not competed (e.g. Due to weather conditions). DLS/DRS adjustments and any other on-field rulings affecting batting statistics are treated as ordinary data. If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without official batting statistics being recorded, the market will resolve Draw. If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and official statistics are available.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in a particular outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the price fluctuates, reflecting the evolving consensus. The market's efficiency depends on the level of trading activity and the information available to traders.
This market resolves around Oct 22, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on which player is officially recorded as scoring the most runs in the first innings of the Oman vs Canada cricket match. The official match results, as published by recognized cricket authorities, will serve as the definitive source for determining the winning outcome of this market. Traders should monitor official sources for updates as the match progresses.
Several factors could significantly influence this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team lineups, or weather forecasts affecting playing conditions could cause price fluctuations. Strong performances by a particular player in recent matches might also increase their perceived probability of being the top batter. Furthermore, as the match draws closer and more traders participate, increased trading volume and shifts in sentiment can lead to substantial price movements. Monitoring cricket news and analyzing player statistics will be key to understanding potential catalysts.
