If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market relies on the collective intelligence of traders who are incentivized to accurately forecast the outcome. Often, prediction markets can provide an early and unbiased signal, potentially differing from initial sportsbook offerings. However, as the event approaches, sportsbook odds may converge with the predictions made in this market, especially if there’s significant public agreement.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of a particular outcome. As more shares are purchased for a specific outcome, its price increases, indicating a higher perceived probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring, allowing traders to express their views and profit if their predictions prove correct. The current price reflects the aggregated assessment of all participants in this market.

This market resolves around Oct 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the result of the Canada vs Nepal cricket match is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result declared by the tournament organizers. The platform will verify the outcome against these sources to determine which shares will pay out. The exact timing of resolution may depend on the speed at which official results are released, but it will occur as soon as possible after the match concludes.

Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team lineups, or weather forecasts impacting playing conditions could significantly shift the odds. Unexpected announcements about pitch conditions or strategic changes by either team could also trigger movement. Furthermore, major shifts in public sentiment, perhaps driven by expert analysis or media coverage, could affect how traders price the likelihood of different outcomes in this market. Monitoring these factors will be key to understanding price fluctuations.
