Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance their risk, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome, leading to probabilities shaped by diverse opinions. If a significant discrepancy exists between this market and sportsbook lines, it might suggest that the crowd perceives information differently than the bookmakers, or that there's an arbitrage opportunity. It’s common to see prediction markets more accurately reflect true probabilities, especially as the event approaches.
