Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, which represents their profit margin. This market, driven by the collective wisdom of traders, aims to reflect the true probability of each outcome. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on expert analysis, this market’s prices evolve as more information becomes available and more people trade, potentially offering a more accurate forecast. It’s common to see differences, especially as the event approaches and new information surfaces.
