Prediction market odds, like those found on Polymarket and Predict, often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of forecasters. This can lead to differences compared to traditional sportsbook odds, which may be influenced by factors like house bias or differing risk assessments. Sportsbooks typically set odds to maximize profit, while prediction markets aim to accurately reflect the true probability of an event. This market’s odds may converge with sportsbook lines as the event approaches, but often offer a unique perspective based on informed traders and real-time information.
