Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Frequently asked questions

Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a 'wisdom of the crowd' assessment, potentially differing from sportsbook odds which may be influenced by factors like house bias or promotional offers. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market allows traders to freely adjust probabilities based on their own research and insights. It's common to see discrepancies, especially before significant events or when new information emerges. Comparing the two can offer a broader perspective on the perceived likelihood of the outcome – Coventry and Sunderland having 3 or more total goals.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders can buy and sell contracts representing their belief about the outcome. The price of a contract fluctuates based on supply and demand; if more people believe 3 or more goals will be scored, the price increases, and vice versa. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing mechanism aims to reflect the collective intelligence of the market participants. The current price represents the market's aggregated probability assessment of the event occurring, and traders are constantly updating their positions based on new information and analysis.

This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final result—whether Coventry and Sunderland have 3 or more total goals in their match—will be determined by official match statistics. Resolution will occur after the conclusion of the game, and the market will settle based on the verified final score. The platform will then distribute payouts to traders holding winning contracts, based on the final price at resolution.

Several factors could influence the price of this market. News regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Coventry or Sunderland would likely have a significant impact. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments, or even weather conditions leading up to the match could also shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about starting lineups or any controversies surrounding the game could also cause volatility. Any information that alters the perceived likelihood of a high-scoring game has the potential to move this market before Nov 1, 2026.
