Description

Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and need to account for profit margins, while this market is driven purely by traders’ beliefs. If a significant discrepancy exists between the two, opportunities for arbitrage may arise, as traders attempt to profit from the difference. However, it's important to remember that both represent probabilities of an outcome, and neither is guaranteed to be correct.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders can buy and sell contracts representing their belief about whether both Coventry and Newcastle will score. The price of these contracts fluctuates based on supply and demand. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Higher demand for the 'yes' side (both teams to score) will drive up the price, indicating a greater perceived probability, while increased selling pressure will lower the price. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and reflect collective expectations.

This market resolves around Oct 13, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will depend on whether both Coventry and Newcastle score at least one goal during the match. Official match data will be used to determine if both teams have found the back of the net, and the market will be settled accordingly. Any goals scored during extra time or penalty shootouts will not be considered for this market’s resolution.

Several factors could influence the price of this market. Late injury news regarding key attacking players for either Coventry or Newcastle would likely have a significant impact. Changes in weather conditions, such as heavy rain or strong winds, could also affect the likelihood of goals. Additionally, any pre-match team news, tactical announcements, or even public sentiment shifts based on expert analysis could all contribute to price movements in this market. Unexpected lineup changes are often a major catalyst for trading activity.
