Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of forecasters, and can sometimes differ from those offered by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set their lines based on statistical models and aim to balance their risk, while this market is driven by individual traders expressing their beliefs. Often, you’ll find that prediction markets are more accurate than sportsbook odds, especially when there’s significant public interest and information available. However, sportsbook odds can still provide a useful benchmark for comparison, and discrepancies may present arbitrage opportunities for informed traders.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders can buy and sell contracts representing their belief about whether both Coventry and Fulham will score. The price of a contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. As more traders buy contracts predicting 'yes', the price increases, and vice versa. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market depth shows the volume of buy and sell orders at different price levels, indicating the strength of conviction among traders. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and adjust its assessment of the event’s likelihood.

This market resolves around Oct 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on whether both Coventry and Fulham score at least one goal during the scheduled match. The official match result will be used to determine the winning outcome. Any goals scored during extra time or penalty shootouts will not be considered for the purposes of this market. The final result will be publicly available and used to settle all outstanding contracts.

Several factors could influence the price of this market before resolution. Key team news, such as injuries or suspensions to star players for either Coventry or Fulham, could significantly shift expectations. Changes in team form, based on recent match results, will also be closely watched by traders. Unexpected weather conditions on match day could impact the style of play and goal-scoring potential. Even public sentiment, driven by media coverage or social media discussions, can introduce short-term volatility into this market. Any significant development related to the teams or the match itself has the potential to move the odds.
