Typically, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective, often incorporating information not immediately available to sportsbooks. This can lead to differences in probabilities assigned to each outcome. While sportsbooks set initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, this market allows anyone to trade based on their own insights, potentially leading to more accurate predictions as the event approaches. Discrepancies can arise due to differing levels of information access, biases, or simply the dynamic nature of trading activity within the prediction market.
