This market refers to the Counter-Strike Winners' match between VP.Future 3 and EAC Extra in the European Pro League Regular Group D, initially scheduled for October 10, 2026 at 6:30 AM ET. This market will resolve to "VP.Future 3" if VP.Future 3 win the match against EAC Extra. This market will resolve to "EAC Extra" if EAC Extra win the match against VP.Future 3. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before October 24, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of October 10, 2026 at 6:30 AM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, ensuring a profit margin, while this market allows traders to directly assess the probability of an outcome. This can lead to discrepancies, with this market potentially offering more favorable odds, especially when there's strong disagreement between the crowd and the sportsbook. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities as perceived by different groups – bettors versus prediction market participants.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting growing confidence. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price movements are driven by information available to traders, including team performance, player statistics, and any breaking news related to the match between VP.Future 3 and EAC Extra.
This market resolves around Oct 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the best-of-three Counter-Strike match between VP.Future 3 and EAC Extra in the European Pro League Regular Group D. The winning team, as determined by the official tournament organizers, will dictate the settlement of this market. Traders should monitor official tournament channels for the final result and subsequent market closure.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market before the match concludes. Unexpected news regarding player health or roster changes for either VP.Future 3 or EAC Extra would likely cause significant shifts in the odds. In-game performance during the first match of the best-of-three series could also dramatically alter trader sentiment. Furthermore, any major upsets in other European Pro League matches might indirectly affect perceptions of team strength and influence trading behavior in this market.
