This market refers to the Counter-Strike Upper bracket quarterfinal 1 match between Natus Vincere and 3DMAX in the Esports World Cup Group D, initially scheduled for August 12 at 2:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "Natus Vincere" if Natus Vincere win the match against 3DMAX. This market will resolve to "3DMAX" if 3DMAX win the match against Natus Vincere. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
The event determines the winner of the 2026 CS2 Esports World Cup by resolving to 'Yes' for the specific market corresponding to the team that secures the championship title. Each market is dedicated to a single team, and the outcome is contingent solely on that team's victory in the tournament. The secondary rules across all markets uniformly state that the organizing platform, Kalshi, holds no official affiliation with the governing league of the tournament, and all trademarks, logos, and brand names mentioned belong to their respective owners. No additional conditions or tiebreakers are specified beyond the explicit championship win requirement for each individual team market.

On Polymarket and Kalshi, prices can vary because each platform attracts distinct user bases and has unique liquidity conditions. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For example, one venue might see heavier retail participation, driving probabilities toward popular narratives, while the other could be influenced by more analytical traders focusing on deeper metrics. These differences in participant behavior, combined with varying volume and open interest, lead to divergent odds even when tracking the same event. Such gaps often narrow as the match nears, but they offer opportunities for cross-platform arbitrage or insight into shifting market sentiment.
This market resolves around Aug 24, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result is based on the official match outcome as reported by authoritative esports organizations and broadcast partners, ensuring transparency and reliability. Traders can track live updates as the game progresses, but the final settlement will reflect the confirmed winner from verified sources, closing the market definitively after the match concludes.
Key signals such as player injuries, strategic lineup changes, or recent performance trends could shift probabilities in this market. As the match approaches, betting volume spikes and media narratives may also influence trader sentiment, especially on platforms with lower volume. Additionally, any last-minute roster updates or tournament rule changes could create rapid price adjustments. Monitoring pre-match analysis, team announcements, and live in-game momentum will be essential for anticipating moves in the odds before settlement.
