This market refers to the Counter-Strike Round 1 match between MOUZ and Liquid in the PGL Masters Bucharest Group Stage, initially scheduled for October 24, 2026 at 6:00 AM ET. This market will resolve to "MOUZ" if MOUZ win the match against Liquid. This market will resolve to "Liquid" if Liquid win the match against MOUZ. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before November 7, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of October 24, 2026 at 6:00 AM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market is driven by individuals willing to put their money behind their beliefs. If prediction market participants strongly disagree with a sportsbook’s assessment, the odds here will likely diverge. It's common to see prediction markets more accurately forecast probabilities, especially when there's a significant information advantage held by participants, or when sportsbooks are influenced by factors beyond pure probability. Examining these differences can reveal valuable insights.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing the likelihood of different outcomes. The price of each contract fluctuates based on supply and demand, reflecting the collective predictions of all participants. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This means the odds change dynamically as new information becomes available and traders adjust their positions. The more a particular outcome is bought, the higher its price (and implied probability) becomes, and vice versa. The current top market on Predict is Map 1 Rounds Handicap: MOUZ (-3.5) vs Liquid (+3.5).
This market resolves around Oct 24, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the resolution will be based on the official results of the MOUZ versus Liquid best-of-three match in the PGL Masters Bucharest Group Stage. The winning team, and any relevant map scores or round differentials, will be used to determine which contracts pay out. The platform will verify the results against official sources to ensure accuracy and transparency for all traders participating in this market.
Several factors could significantly impact this market before resolution. Any news regarding player form, injuries, or strategic changes within either MOUZ or Liquid would likely cause shifts in the odds. Major upsets in other matches within the PGL Masters Bucharest tournament could also influence perceptions of team strength and affect trading activity. Furthermore, unexpected announcements about map picks or veto strategies could lead to price adjustments. Finally, large-volume trades by informed participants could also create noticeable movements in this market.
