Keep an eye on the initial match scheduled for October 24, 2026 at 6:00 AM ET, as the outcome of this first round will directly determine the resolution of this market.
This market refers to the Counter-Strike Round 1 match between MOUZ and Liquid in the PGL Masters Bucharest Group Stage, initially scheduled for October 24, 2026 at 6:00 AM ET. This market will resolve to "MOUZ" if MOUZ win the match against Liquid. This market will resolve to "Liquid" if Liquid win the match against MOUZ. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before November 7, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of October 24, 2026 at 6:00 AM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on power rankings and expert analysis, but may be slower to adjust to new information or changing sentiment. This market, driven by active traders on Polymarket, can incorporate a wider range of data and react more quickly to developments like team form, player availability, or even subtle shifts in public perception. It’s common to see discrepancies emerge as the event approaches.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting growing confidence. Conversely, selling pressure drives prices down. This dynamic process ensures the market odds constantly adapt to the latest information and collective intelligence of the traders participating.
This market resolves around Oct 24, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the best-of-three series between MOUZ and Liquid in the PGL Masters Bucharest Group Stage. The team declared the winner by the tournament organizers will determine the winning outcome in this market. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final result.
Several factors could significantly influence this market. Any news regarding player health or form for either MOUZ or Liquid would likely cause price movement. Unexpected roster changes, strategic shifts revealed during practice sessions, or even commentary from analysts could all impact trader sentiment. Major upsets in other matches within the tournament could also shift perceptions of team strength and influence trading activity. Keep an eye on these developments as they unfold, as they could all contribute to changes in the odds for this market.
