This market tracks whether G2 or Natus Vincere will win a best-of-three Counter-Strike match in the PGL Masters Bucharest Group Stage, with a specific focus on Natus Vincere’s round handicap on Map 2. Currently, Polymarket gives a 100.0% probability to Natus Vincere (-3.5) winning the round handicap on Map 2 against G2 (+3.5). The resolution source for this market is hltv.org. Keep an eye on the initial match schedule for October 24, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET, as the start of the match will be the first step toward resolving this market.
This market refers to the Counter-Strike Round 1 match between G2 and Natus Vincere in the PGL Masters Bucharest Group Stage, initially scheduled for October 24, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET. This market will resolve to "G2" if G2 win the match against Natus Vincere. This market will resolve to "Natus Vincere" if Natus Vincere win the match against G2. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before November 7, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of October 24, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on expert analysis and incorporate a profit margin, whereas this market allows traders to express their own beliefs. If a significant discrepancy exists between prediction market probabilities and sportsbook odds, it could indicate that the market believes the sportsbook has mispriced the event. However, it's important to remember that both represent probabilities, and neither guarantees the actual outcome of the G2 vs Na'Vi CS2 match.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information emerges, the price adjusts to reflect the collective assessment. The market’s price is determined solely by supply and demand; if more people believe G2 will win, the price of shares representing that outcome will increase, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures the market remains responsive to evolving perceptions.
This market resolves around Oct 24, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the best-of-three series between G2 and Natus Vincere as determined by the tournament organizers of PGL Masters Bucharest Group Stage. The winning team will be identified based on the final match score, and that result will be used to determine which shares pay out. This ensures a clear and objective determination of the market's outcome.
Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market before resolution. Unexpected news regarding player form, such as a key player being injured or performing exceptionally well in practice, could significantly shift probabilities. In-game performance during the series itself, like a dominant performance in the first map, would also likely cause substantial movement. Analyst opinions and pre-match predictions, while not directly impacting the market, can influence trader sentiment. Finally, any major upsets in other concurrent matches at PGL Masters Bucharest could affect overall confidence in team strategies and potentially move this market.
