This market tracks whether the total number of rounds played on Map 3 in the Counter-Strike match between Betclic Apogee Esports and PRIVATE will be over or under 21.5. Currently, Polymarket gives a 100.0% probability to the “Over 21.5” outcome. Resolution will be based on data from https://hltv.org. Keep an eye on the initial match schedule for October 8, 2026, as this date marks both the originally scheduled match time and the beginning of the event window for determining the total rounds played on Map 3.
This market refers to the Counter-Strike Round of 16 match between Betclic Apogee Esports and PRIVATE in the 1win Private Club #2: Closed Qualifier Playoffs, initially scheduled for October 8, 2026 at 11:00 AM ET. This market will resolve to "Betclic Apogee Esports" if Betclic Apogee Esports win the match against PRIVATE. This market will resolve to "PRIVATE" if PRIVATE win the match against Betclic Apogee Esports. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before October 22, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of October 8, 2026 at 11:00 AM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
Generally, prediction markets like Polymarket often reflect information and perspectives differing from traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set their odds based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market aggregates the wisdom of the crowd. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook is undervaluing or overvaluing a team's chances, the odds on Polymarket will adjust accordingly. This can lead to discrepancies, with prediction market prices sometimes being more accurate predictors of the final result than traditional odds.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, the price increases, reflecting growing confidence. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price is driven by supply and demand; if many traders believe PRIVATE will win, the price of shares representing that outcome will rise until it balances the opposing bets.
This market resolves around Oct 8, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Counter-Strike: Betclic Apogee Esports vs PRIVATE (BO3) match within the 1win Private Club #2 Closed Qualifier Playoffs. The winning team, as declared by the tournament organizers, will determine the winning outcome in this market. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final result.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before its resolution. Any news regarding player form, team strategies, or unexpected roster changes for either Apogee Esports or PRIVATE could significantly shift trader sentiment. Major upsets in other qualifying matches, or announcements about the tournament conditions, might also cause price movements. Furthermore, large volume trades from influential traders on Polymarket could create short-term volatility and impact the odds as the event draws closer.
