Description

This market refers to the Counter-Strike match between BENCHPRESS and TTG Esports in the ESEA Advanced Europe Regular Season, initially scheduled for October 20, 2026 at 2:30 PM ET. This market will resolve to "BENCHPRESS" if BENCHPRESS win the match against TTG Esports. This market will resolve to "TTG Esports" if TTG Esports win the match against BENCHPRESS. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before November 3, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of October 20, 2026 at 2:30 PM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Frequently asked questions

Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. This market, like others, can reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially incorporating information not immediately available to or fully priced into sportsbook lines. Discrepancies can arise due to differing opinions on team form, player availability, or even subtle strategic advantages. While sportsbooks primarily cater to casual bettors, prediction markets tend to attract more informed and engaged participants, leading to potentially more accurate probabilities, though this is not always the case.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome of the BENCHPRESS versus TTG Esports match. The price of these shares fluctuates based on supply and demand, directly reflecting the collective forecast of all participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures the market odds continuously adapt to new information and changing perceptions of the likely winner of the Counter-Strike match.

This market resolves around Nov 4, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Counter-Strike: BENCHPRESS vs TTG Esports (BO1) match within the ESEA Advanced Europe Regular Season. The winning team, as declared by the official tournament organizers, will determine the winning outcome in this market. Traders will be able to claim their winnings once the result is officially verified and reported.

Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market before the match concludes. Unexpected news regarding player form, such as a key player being sidelined due to illness or injury, could significantly shift the odds. In-game strategic changes announced by either team, or even early performance in other matches during the season, might also impact trader sentiment. Furthermore, any substantial shifts in public opinion, perhaps fueled by analyst predictions or social media discussions, could lead to increased volume and price movement in this market.
