Currently, Polymarket gives a 100.0% probability to the “Over/Under 21.5” outcome. Resolution will be based on the results reported at https://hltv.org. Keep an eye on the match start time of October 27, 2026 at 7:00 AM ET, as this is when the initial round counts will begin to determine the outcome of this market.
This market refers to the Counter-Strike match between Alliance and FaZe in the Tesla Cup Group A, initially scheduled for October 27, 2026 at 7:00 AM ET. This market will resolve to "Alliance" if Alliance win the match against FaZe. This market will resolve to "FaZe" if FaZe win the match against Alliance. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before November 10, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of October 27, 2026 at 7:00 AM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
Prediction market odds often differ from those offered by traditional sportsbooks, reflecting the wisdom of the crowd and differing incentives. Sportsbooks incorporate a profit margin into their odds, while this market allows traders to directly assess the probabilities. If a large number of traders believe an outcome is more likely than a sportsbook suggests, the odds on Polymarket will adjust accordingly. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply variations in opinion regarding the Alliance vs FaZe matchup. It's common to see prediction markets offer more accurate probabilities, especially closer to the event.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief in the likelihood of each outcome. The price of a contract directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy into a particular outcome, its price increases, and its implied probability rises. Conversely, selling pressure lowers the price and probability. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the collective intelligence of all participants regarding the Alliance vs FaZe match.
This market resolves around Oct 27, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Counter-Strike: Alliance vs FaZe (BO3) match in the Tesla Cup Group A. The winning team, as determined by the official tournament organizers, will dictate the settlement of this market. Traders will be able to view the resolved outcome on Polymarket following the completion of the match and official confirmation of the results.
