This market refers to the Counter-Strike match between aimers and Ryvex in the ESEA Advanced Europe Regular Season, initially scheduled for October 28, 2026 at 3:30 PM ET. This market will resolve to "aimers" if aimers win the match against Ryvex. This market will resolve to "Ryvex" if Ryvex win the match against aimers. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before November 11, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of October 28, 2026 at 3:30 PM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from sportsbook odds due to varying information and incentives. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own analysis and incorporate a profit margin, while this market is driven by traders directly expressing their beliefs about the outcome. If a significant difference exists between prediction market probabilities and sportsbook odds, it may indicate disagreement about the true likelihood of a particular result. It’s important to remember that both represent probabilities, but are derived through different mechanisms.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome of the CS:GO aimers vs Ryvex match. The price of these shares fluctuates based on supply and demand, effectively creating a probability estimate. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more shares purchased for a particular outcome, the higher its price, and the greater the implied probability. This dynamic pricing allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and adjust expectations as the event approaches.
This market resolves around Nov 5, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the result of the CS:GO aimers vs Ryvex match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The winning team in the best-of-one series will determine the outcome of this market. Resolution will be based on the official results published by the event organizer, ESEA. Traders will be able to claim their winnings once the resolution is finalized on Polymarket.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before the match concludes. Unexpected news regarding player form, team strategies, or even roster changes could shift trader sentiment. In-game performance during the match itself, such as early round wins or key player clutches, will also likely cause significant price movement. Any information that alters the perceived probability of either team winning—aimers or Ryvex—has the potential to move this market substantially. Public opinion and analyst predictions could also play a role, though to a lesser extent.
